Saturday morning drop-in tennis is starting up May 7 — this year with changes including online payment and sign-up!
Long story short, with the switch in management of Centennial Middle School (CMS) courts from Boulder Parks and Rec back to Boulder Valley School District, the rental price for courts has more than doubled… Not that we’re complaining, since the change also brought about the first resurfacing of CMS courts in many a year, making them some of the best courts in Boulder. All thanks to BVSD.
To partially defray this additional cost, drop-in players, who formerly played for free, will now pay a nominal $3 fee per Saturday. (Less than the price of one custom beverage at your favorite coffee shop!)
To achieve this, players will be required to register and pay for their drop-in sessions online through the BTA website. You will be able to sign up for one or multiple Saturdays, and the registration app will total up your session costs via a shopping cart environment. Through the registration page you can also manage your sessions if something comes up and you need to later cancel. Deadline for signup for any given session is 3:00 p.m. the Friday before the session.
For more details, and to sign up for Saturday sessions, go to our BTA website Drop-In page. Or there is a drop-in link in the menu at the top of the BTA homepage.
If you have any questions, you may contact our BTA Drop-In managers at dropin@bouldertennis.org
Thanks, and see you on the courts.
